HID C1150 Crescendo Cards

The Crescendo C1150 from HID Global is a convenient and multifunctional smart card that provides secure logical and physical access control.

The Crescendo C1150 Smart Cards uses Java Card OS v2.2.2 with Global Platform Specification 2.1.1. The Crescendo C1150 is available as contact-only, SIM punch out or hybrid (contact and contactless). It comes preloaded with an electrical profile and standard applications. The card can be used in standalone mode or accessed through the card management system.

The Crescendo C1150 supports Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8 (both 32- & 64-bit) and Windows Server 2003, 2008 (R2) and 2012. In addition to this, the Crescendo C1150 supports industry standards such as ISO 7816 1-4, PCSC/CCID, PKCS #11, PKI X.509 and Microsoft base CSP.

Additional great features include automatic memory defragmentation and customization options which include magnetic stripes and anti-counterfeiting features.

The Crescendo C1150 has an EEPROM memory of 80K with an endurance of 500,000 cycles with 20 year retention. This smart cards dimensions are 2.1" x 3.3" x .03", and it is made of composite PVC/PET.

The Crescendo C1150 offers excellent high security features. This includes Public Key Infrastructures (PKI) two-factor authentication, digital signature/encryption services and one-time password authentication. These passwords are securely protected through the ActivIdentity Applet Framework for JavaCard, which is currently used by over two million smart cards.

In addition to this, the Crescendo C1150 supports Secure Identity Object (SIO) which offers enhanced security through key diversification, encryption and authentication signatures.

Finally, the Crescendo C1150 comes with cutting edge security countermeasures that protect against timing and fault (DFA), Single Fault Injection (SFI) and Simple Power Analysis/Differential Power Analysis (SPA/DPA) attacks.
