Datacard YMCK 4-Panel Full Color Ribbon (1000 Images/Roll). For use with Datacard RP90, RP90 Plus, RP90 Plus E, SR200 and SR300 ID Card Printers.

A Datacard YMCK ribbon consist of four panels (Y=Yellow, M=Magenta, C=Cyan, B=Black) and is used for printing full-color cards where crisp black text and graphics is required (e.g. for barcodes).

If crisp black text and graphics is not required, a YMC ribbon can be used instead.

This ribbon is used for single-sided card printing.

Whether you have an ImageCard (R) desktop card printer or a Datacard 7000 or 9000 central issuance card printer, Datacard full color ribbons produce clear, true-to-life photos, barcodes, logos, text, and more. Specifically designed for Datacard printers, all print ribbons have system-matched performance that meet the same high standards of guaranteed quality as your printer, with reliability you can count on. All ribbons are applied by a process called Thermal Transfer. Ribbons pass under a thermal printhead which transfers the image onto the surface of a PVC card or an InTM material that is then thermally attached to the surface of a PVC card.
