A Magicard YMCKUV ribbon is used for printing full-color cards with invisible UV text or images. The "standard" YMCK panels provide full color printing with the yellow (Y), magenta (M) and cyan (C) panels along with the black monochrome printing of text and barcodes with the black (K) panel.

The Ultra-Violet panel (UV) is a cost-effective method of adding extra security without the cost of custom holographic overlaminates and/or additional hardware. UV ink printing is as simple as enabling the feature in your printer driver and configuring the UV placement method desired.

This ribbon is used for single-sided card printing.
