Magicard Helix ID Card Printers Picture

The Magicard Helix ID card printer utilizes retransfer card printing technology to produce high quality cards with over-the-edge printing. The retransfer printing process works by first printing the card image to a thin film (known as Retransfer Film) and then using heat to transfer the image to the card surface. Two benefits of this are that the printhead never touches the card and over-the-edge printing can be achieved.

Other features of the Helix card printer include high capacity printing with 1000 card consumables and 200-card hoppers, as well as built-in security that allows you to apply watermarks to each PVC card as it is printed during the re-transfer process. HoloKote dye film allows for fluorescence under UV lighting for added security.

Other standard features of the Helix card printer include a, intuitive touchscreen, 200 card hoppers and a 3-year warranty. Optional features include magnetic stripe and smart card encoders, dual-sided card printing and laminator.
