The multiCLASS SE RP30 reader is 13.56 MHz device developed to provide users with an advanced card reading technology that works with iCLASS, Prox, and EM4102, and includes highly advanced security features which provide secure communications and central management.

The multiCLASS SE RP30 comes as a portable 83.8 millimeter square reader designed to operate with standard European and Asian black boxes. It is available in either the Wiegand or Clock-and-Data Interface, both with a cable range of 150 meters.

The optional inclusion of the new Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) SIA standard, together with the Secure Channel Protocol (SCP), to the existing platform based on the Secure Identity Object (SIO) data model and Trusted Identity Platform (TIP), provides users with an advanced multi-layered security system which is tamper-proof when coupled with the cryptographically operated EAL5+ secure element hardware.

The HID Global iCLASS SE platform is exemplary in the industry. The typical read range is completely dependent on the installation setup in addition to the current technology in use, but anywhere from 1.3 to 8.4 centimeters can be expected. The RP30 comes in black or gray, weighs around 5.3 ounces, and does not come with an additional keypad. It consumes very little power with the available Intelligent Power Management (IPM) Mode and is made from 11% recycled materials. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

The multiclass SE RP30 SKU is a solution which enables users to leverage legacy technologies with enhanced systems that are far superior in security, adaptable across a variety of platforms, and customizable. It is a great choice for those requiring a system that supports 13.56 MHz iCLASS or 125 kHz Prox and EM4102.
