HID MiniProx Readers

The MiniProx Card Reader from HID is a device designed primarily to provide a Wiegand or Clock-and-Data interface in an indoor- or outdoor-mounted setting.

The HID MiniProx Card Reader is sealed within a tough polycarbonate material designed to withstand very harsh environments, extending its lifetime and durability and providing the most consistent reads. It comes with a junction box to be attached to an appropriate surface, which helps to make the MiniProx virtually vandal-proof. As it accepts 5V to 16V power, upgrading from a magstripe reader to a proximity reader has never been easier; rewiring or new cabling is not necessary.
