The HID Indala 125 kHz Proximity Reader's FlexSecur technology offers an added level of system security through a verification process at the reader and screens out unauthorized cards before transmitting access control data to the host system, enhancing security in two ways. Encryption of the entire card field prior to the programming of the card prevents the card from being decoded to determine the information on the card, and unique programming of the card and readers is done for each site, which prevents unauthorized entry attempts using cards designated for another facility.
Compatible cards offer formats of up to 172 bits and can be configured for Wiegand, Mag stripe and Serial output formats.
