The Fargo HDP5600 Card Printer and Encoder (introduced in March 2016) is a fifth generation re-transfer dye-sublimation printer capable of producing high definition cards and badges. It features an 600 dpi option that enables you to not only print more brilliant and sharper images, but small text and crisp barcodes as well.
The HDP5600 badge printer also features 64MB Memory and includes the Fargo Workbench software and diagnostic utility for printer maintenance with Color Assist spot-color matching. Optional user-installable features of this printer include dual-side printing, single-side and dual-side lamination modules, magnetic stripe encoders and Wi-Fi; other field-upgradeable options (technician required) include smart card encoders, and dual input hoppers.
The HDP5600 printer comes standard with a 3-year printer warranty which includes one-year of free loaner printer support (US Only).
