HID Magnetic Stripe Readers

HID Magnetic stripe readers are made to have Clock-and-Data and Wiegand outputs on them. Also a part of the HID magnetic stripe readers are combination readers, which are able to read both magnetic stripe cards and proximity cards. The advantage of having the combination readers is to be able to have a smoother migration from a magnetic stripe to proximity technology. HID magnetic stripe readers come with or without keypads. The keypads on the HID magnetic stripe readers are for an added level of security. Different HID magnetic stripe readers are better for different environments, including indoor/outdoor, or harsher industrial environments.
